Today I have received a letter from CHC Singapore that given instructions for new borne Baby.
My Wife is 4.5 months pregnant but we have sent medical & rpr fee. They instructions said that We need to inform new born baby within 60 days after born along with US$150 +3 copy photo+ passport photo copy.
My query is
DO they stop my processing till my baby born??? is this the usual procedure to hold processing for pregnancy???

They will complete processing your and your spouse's part of the application and then keep it on hold until you submit information for the baby (the application fee, copy of birth certificate, photographs and the application form). They will then send the medical request for the baby and then issue you the visas. You need to apply for the baby's passport ASAP after he/she is born. This is a usual procedure. I just went through it and received the medical request for all of us. Do not be in "Severe Tense" my friend. You will be just fine!!
I Have enough time to Land over there SO why did they Hold. Is this they are Alerted if they missed the deadline of processing befoe baby born or they intentioanly Hold it.
I have a valid question here, now if we have recieved medicals me and my wife soon, we are planning to have baby right after medicals, will the new baby still undergoes medicals if during the preganacy time (8-9months) we didn't recieve Visa's??

It is a regulation that every member of the family, whether accompanying or not, whether new born or otherwise, 'must' get their medicals done. So, the baby has to be medically checked. But, that's just a 15 minutes job -not like ours.
BTW: I'll advise -don't get your wife's medicals. It's not wise to put a pregnant lady on the X-rays [even with the 'protective shield'].
thanks Quorax,
but maybe you didn't get my quesiton right
My wife is not yet pregnant and ofcourse will not expose her to X-ray if she would be preganat, we are planning to have a baby after medicals, in other words if she is pregant can she still travels and deliver in canada??
@hassan, If ur wife become pregnant after doing medical she can travel , but if she in advance stage (like 8 or 9 month) most of the airline didnt allow her in their airlines.
There was a post from someone else, he got a call from local visa office asking if he would like to travel before having the baby or later. He opted for traveling later and they put his application on hold, pending child birth and documentation. So, if you intend to immigrate before, I guess you can approach visa officer.
