I have already landed and I have received my PR Card. Currently I am staying with a family friend and I do not have any contract with him. When I apply for the citizenship can I say that I stayed at his house without paying a rent? or I have to show the contract? or even the electric bill? or show my payslips from my employer if I find a job? I want to know what is the proof that I lived in Canada for certain amount of days?
Another questions for health insurace do I have to get a job to get the health insurance or it is not necessary?

1. No you don't need a contract, just save receipts sent to you at that address.
2. You don't need a job to obtain health insurance depending on the province, there is a waiting period from 0-90 days, and a monthly fee, some provinces (Alberta is 1) don't charge fees.
1. what receipts you mean? the electricity for example? i do not pay electricity, it is on his name? everything is on his name there.
2. So I have to wait around 90 days depending on the province, then I have to apply or I have to apply and they will give me insurance after 90 days?
3. how can I apply for the health insurance? have the application already filled out? do I need to go to OHIP offices? can I mail them or do it online?
