Based on Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) regulations. A stayed or withdrawn charge is stored within CPIC for up to 5 years for non-violent offenses. Should a criminal record check be made within 5 years, the record will state "that a criminal record may or may not exist".
My question is, will a stayed or withdrawn charge influence a person's inadmissibility? A friend of mine is currently in this predicament.
