stay back time in canada after masters

Hi all, i have a doubt regarding stay back time in Canada after finishing our masters in engineering.....as per my knowledge, if we finish our course in 1.5 to 2 years, we are eligible for 3 years work permit and we can continue in Canada....my doubt is whether we will be able to travel back to India after studies and go back to Canada for work for the remaining 3 years...i mean whether our study permit visa allows multiple entry to Canada?

as for reentering canada u need a valid visa ....so this is how it works.. to enter canada u need a visa and to stay legally in canada after u have entered u need a permit(be it study permit,work permit etc) . Now once u get PGWP u have to check if ur visa is still valid if not then u either reapply from within canada or from ur home country to enter canada.
