Any advice appreciated. I applied for PR under federal skilled worker. I submitted the wrong criminal check form (disclosure Scotland) rather than a specific ACRO which I am now resubmitting. The application status said cancelled, however in the letter it said rejected as incomplete due to the wrong criminal check. What do I answer to the underneath questions? Almost ready to submit again.

1. Has [name of applicant] been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

2. Has [name of application] ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

I don’t know whether to answer no as it wasn’t refused, it was cancelled and rejected as incomplete.

Has there been any update on your case? My initial PR application post-ITA was rejected as incomplete because of a date error in the police report.

I am not sure how to answer those questions. Please Help.

I had a rejected application and when i applied again i answered NO to both of these questions. I am now a permanent resident. In fact, when it is rejected at that stage, CIC didn't even start processing, so technically you didn't apply because it was deemed an incomplete application.
