Statutory Declaration of Common Law Union

hi,
I am applying for a work permit extension and PR at the same time. I am in a common law partnership since we have a daughter who was born in December 2018. However, we started living together in Aug 2018. my accountant mistakenly put single when I filed my tax for the year 2018. and I am trying to correct that but still no response from CRA. In the form IMM5409, question 1 d.), "Have declared Common law union under the Canadian Income Tax Act" should I say "yes" or "no"? will it affect my application?

IRCC only care about their definition of common law and the evidence they state as supporting proof of common law.
