I know this topic has been brought up a few times before, but still not finding an answer.
For my CL application I'm getting some letters from family and friends. CIC says two need to be notorized.
Do these two need to be official statutory declarations with all the necessary legal info at the top and bottom. Or would a detailed letter hand signed and dated by both the person writing the letter and the notary person do the job?
The other letters I've asked friends and family to do will just be normal letters signed and dated.

The letters from family or friends are just handwritten or typed letters that they will bring to a notary, sign in front of the notary and the notary will sign and stamp. That will be the legal part. Sometimes the notary will add another page and that will have their info on it.
Haha! My head is spinning with questions and concerns since I started this process, sometimes I don't even remember my own questions! You guys are great indulging in all our ignorance and anxiety
