Status restored !

Hello everyone
Finally after months of waiting I got my status restored and it is valid till next year which is April 2017.I already have multiple visitor visa valid for few more years. So I guess I do have a status now. Just clearing my doubts and hopefully someone who got more knowledge than me will help me understand it. I already send in my spouse sponsorship (inland) and got the aor too, along with my application I did send my open work permit with a cover letter stating that I have already send in my restoration of status application and attached a fee receipt for status restoration. Hopefully they will hang on to my open work permit application and not deny it straight away since I didn't have a status when I send in my spousal application. What do you all think about my situation ?? Seniors shed some light in this tunnel please . Thank you !! And I wish everyone's who's waiting all the best ...

Hey - how have you been ? I send mine at the end of December and I guess it took 4 months and a week to get it restored . It was approved on 4th of April. Hopefully you will get yours approved soon . All the best !!

A year is pretty good. Congrats!

As for if they will accept your work permit application, how long ago did you send it in? Since you have AOR, I'm guessing it would have been sent back by now if they were going to. They probably put it on hold till your status was restored. You can try calling and see if the call center can see any info about it.

OWP was send at the end of December 2015, and I recieved my Aor in February. Getting through the call center is very hard. I shall try my luck later and hopefully I will get some info on my work permit.

Hi, Idk if you're still getting an email notifications or checking this thread, but could you please give an update? Did the OWP get approved after your restoration? Thank you
