I have applied (proof of Canadian citizenship) for my two kids outside of Canada, we hope to get an approval in the next month, because they are rushing for school in September. As we know that we need to wait about 6-8 months for approval, i would like to see if there is anyone to share about the normal timelines of approval in 2017?

1. We received your application for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship) on November 3, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 5, 2017.

Yes, I got decision made on May 28, but haven't received their letter yet! They told me it is taking 4 to 6 weeks for mailing it!
