Status expiring in a week! How can I maintain a legal status

Hi!! My status is expiring I'm a weeks time, I don't know what should I do to maintain a legal status, before the expiry date. However, I got an acceptance letter from the school, should I apply for for study permit paper application or visitor visa or apply both ?Once I made my application for change of status before the expiry, do I still need to apply for the restoration ? Please advice what's the actual procedure

You can apply for visitor visa or study permit before your permit expires.

For visitor visa, search the form IMM5708E
CIC usually issue TRV for a year.

Getting married doesn't necessarily help. It certainly doesn't grant you any immediate status in Canada.
