Status change

Dear Friends
My application was transferred last week from Buffalo office to Detroit. Today the status is changed to In Process. I was not sure reading the eCAS on what does this mean and how much more time it will be normally in this status. Could anyone help me understand please? Thanks

March 23, 2009- Application Submitted
April 21, 2009 - Application sent to Buffalo office
August 3 2009- AOR from Buffalo Office, status changed to Received by Visa Office
March 23, 2010- Application transferred to Detroit
March 30, 2010 - Status changed to In Process

BTW.. can anyone tell me what does In Process status mean and how long will it take..what does CIC perform this time?
