Hi, as I couldn't find an answer to my question I decided to post here, sorry for any duplicates and hope it's not too specific so it can help others.
Long story short, my current course ends May 8th 2019, I have a study permit for the whole 2019. I intend to apply for a second program (let's not consider here the permit renewal). The problem is, the classes start in May 10th 2019 would I lose my student status at May 9th and have to quit my part time? Would also my spouse have to quit his fulltime job (owp) because of this 1 day gap?

If so, what if I change the current first program with a program that starts in May 7th 2019? Would we be able to keep in our current jobs?

Thank you a lot guys.
I know I should talk to a consultor. But I wanted to ask you first.
