I am asked to mail my passport with the copy of the letter CIC sent me to Ottawa (I am in Vancouver, Canada). Could you please let me know if I can expedite the stamping TRV visa process ? how many days does this process usually take ? Thank you.

Hello! Try including an explanation letter why do you need it urgent. I sent an explanation letter with my plane ticket on it and a copy of my mom's medical certificate. I got my passport back exactly one week when I sent it. I sent it last Thursday, the office received it on the 23rd of October, Monday and yesterday they emailed me and phone suggesting that I need to provide them an Online Shipping Label with preferred shipping time. Today I got my Passport with visa on it:)
