SPP Visa Documents For Indian Students

Hello Guys,

I am trying for September intake this year in Centennial College.

I have received the Offer Letter and also paid the Tuition Fees and GIC. Now when I want to apply for visa, my agent is telling me to arrange for IT Returns of my parents as well as show proof of Bank Statements.

But when I checked the SPP Visa Document Checklist here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5961E.pdf

There is nowhere written that I need to provide those financial documents. From my point of view, only GIC and Fees payment is enough for SPP India right? If i'm wrong then please do correct me. Thanks

Hey u dont need to worry just collect the documents and give them to aagent there is section where u have give ur parents desigination and their yearly income so nothing to worry go with a flow. I am in centennial college as well hurry up and all the best.

Yea u provide her all the docs its just that agent has to fill the exact amount of the return like if u are called for interview all the figures are completely true...

So provide her and would suggest apply early because i applied on 2nd june i am still waiting...a guy applied on 2nd june he got his visa one week back...so that will hurry your process...

And one thing u can do is..in return give good wishes so that i can get visa soon...all the best to u too...

One last thing if you don't mind.

My agent told me to include Original Passport among the documents that I will drop at the VFS office of Hyderabad. Is it okay to drop my passport in the package?

Yeah it is okay..but i suggest to apply online.
I applied on 2nd june and still waiting...
A guy applied on 2nd june online he got visa a week back so online process is much faster.
Rest if u apply by paper u have to submit ur orginal passport along. Nothing to worry...

Ok sure. Thanks a lot. If you apply by online then which VFS office will handle your case? Do you have any idea?

Ask your agent to apply online there is nothing to with vsf if u apply online. Fees and uploding will be done in CIC account than next is when visa will be approved u will recieve a request letter to submit your passport so with that letter u have to submit ur passport to nearest vsf than u will get it stamped and will get back within a week.

I talked to her regarding this but she is saying if we apply near July then it's not good to apply online because the passport stamping alone takes 1 week. Maybe I will file offline itself and see where my luck takes me. Thanks for your help by the way. Very much appreciate it.

Hi Nishtha,

I applied online yesterday. Online application did not ask my ielts marksheet or other marksheets I submitted file already.

I heard that you will call from New delhi to submit marksheets via unique id provided to you if they want to check your marksheets.

Can you please share your case details? I submitted SOP also.
