Hi friends, need your suggestions desperately as I’m completely doomed.
I came to Canada on study visa in 2012. I met a white girl in pub, we two started dating in mid 2014 and finally fell in love in 2015. We two actually wanted to get married but both of our parents refused our proposals so we had to broke up our relationship.
During the tenure, she helped me to apply spouse work visa but as we forgot to upload few more important documents, our visa was cancelled stating missing documents. And I headed back to India in 2015.
In this year, I got a marriage proposal from an Indian girl living in Canada, both of our parents accepted this wedding. Our wedding happened few months before and I’ve gotten visit visa approved to be with my wife in Canada, who’s Canadian citizen.
Recently have applied spouse work visa, application is taking much more longtime than usual. I got reply from case officer saying “ I’m trying to get more information regarding your past spouse work visa application”
It’s really freaking me out..!! Friends would it affect my work visa because I was sponsored before by another girl.

To sponsor you for a work permit, you and the first girl either had to be married or common law. Common law means that you lived together for at least one full year. When your new wife applied to sponsor you, I assume you declared this first marriage or common law relationship?

Yes I and my first girl were in common law for 7 months. When I applied for work visa after getting married this year, I couldn’t find any block in the application asking me about my past relationship.

Your posts are confusing. You have said your wife is a Canadian citizen. This doesn't entitle you to apply for a work permit on it's own. To apply for a work permit, your spouse would have to sponsor you for PR inland and you would have to include an open work permit in that application. In the sponsorship application - you must declare your past relationships. Did you do this?
You didn't answer the second question. Did you declare your first visa refusal in your new application?

My wife sponsored me for my visitor application which has gotten approved few months ago. And she also has sponsored me for my work visa application. For which I’m awaiting for response.
Agree this is confusing. Did you apply for spousal sponsorship with owp? Both times? Common law means you have lived with someone over a 12 month continuous period.

Again, if she is a Canadian citizen, she cannot sponsor you for a work visa alone.
To apply for a work visa, you would need to be in Canada and she would have to sponsor you for PR using the inland process - and then include a work permit. If she hasn't done this - the work permit is certainly going to be refused.

You still haven't answered basic questions. Without answering basic questions - we cannot help you. What did you and your wife apply for? Did you just apply for a work permit? Did she sponsor you for PR? If she sponsored you for PR - did she use the inland or outland process? Did she include an open work permit application with the sponsorship package? Again, you need to provide a lot more information or we can't be of any help to you at all.
