i just want to know if any recent spouse visa applicant got file number.
my cousin applied for spouse visa 2 months ago and he hasn't received file number
and i applied for spouse visa last month and so far no updates
on 24 sep 2020 on Canada immigration website had a news that they are speeding up process for spouse visa
i just want to know if any applicant from 2020 got any updates

Did you apply inland or outland. Every month there's a discussion thread about each type of application. And you can look into each months' applications' progress in general.
From what's I've read, I think Mar 2020 and may be some Apr applications got AOR. But go check out the information yourself in the related thread.

Think there is some confusion. Speeding up will only result in trying to minimize how delayed the sponsorships will be. It still will likely take over a year for many of the applications.
