Okay so Im a canadian PR. I got married in July 2016 and I want to appply for my husband so I see him and get to be with him. Can you please let me know if I apply outland for my spouse who lives in middle east.. do I (the sponsor) HAVE to immediately drop school and live in canada ?
I am a student in USA.. Currently on F1 visa .. I have school in Detroit and I have a home and access to mail in Windsor (which is literally a 45 minute drive)...
My F1 status expires in 2 months time so I will absolutely be moving to Windsor anyway !! and I will be back to canada in 2 months time, I just have school in the USA for only 2 months more. If I have already applied for him to come live with me in canada ..., is that going to be a problem for him or me? PLEASE HELP

You need to be living in Canada at the time you submit your application and need to continue living in Canada while the application is being processed. You should wait until you have finished school and moved back to Canada before you submit the application. If you submit the application while you are still living in the US - you should be expecting a refusal. If you have already submitted the application - then I would withdraw it.

Exactly. Only a Canadian citizen can be outside of Canada to submit a sponsorship application.
