hello dear,
i got married last week and my wife is Canadian.our marriage is arrange marriage.originally i am from Pakistan. my wife and her all family came to Pakistan to participate in marriage ceremony. i live in japan for 2 years as i am doing my business there. So my question is that which visa section is suitable for me to apply because i am also allowed to apply from Tokyo as well as from Pakistan.one more thing that i have lived in UK as well for more then a year so is it going to cause delay in my case because they might need more time to do background check?

Well it goes by your birth place not the place you live now or even if you hold a visa.So it will go to pakistan. And she has to sponsor you from Canada outland.

Not true. The OP can apply in his country of citizenship or in the country where he has been legally admitted for at least one year. He can choose Japan if his original admittance was for at least a one year period.

True i guess i shouldnt have assumed he lived in Japan for less than a year my bad.But yes you lived in Pakistan, japan, and the UK so you will need police certs from all three.

i have legally admitted to japan for last 2 years as i have investor visa there.now i have option for tokyo and islamabad my question is please which visa office is best suitable for me keeping in mind quick results.

The Tokyo office takes on average from 4 to 8 months to process a spousal sponsorship; Islamabad takes 7 to 14 months.

Thanks for help.
is it possible that i can do my medical in pakistan because currently i am in pakistan and then i use tokyo as a visa office.or if i choose tokyo as a visa office so i must do medicasl in japan? i also heard that useing tokyo might delay my application becuase they send all documents from tokyo to pakistan for verification and then notify tokyo and that will consume extra time is it true?
Sorry for bothering you guys.
Cheers
