hello seniors

i have been accepted for my masters in Alberta for sept 2016. now i am planing to apply for visa. therefore i need your help regarding these questions.

i would like to apply for my wife visa along with my study visa. is it good decision ?
i am in UAE and my wife is in Pakistan. so can i apply for both from UAE?
how much fund will be required to show?
