Spouse visa along with student visa

Hi Experts,

My wife got an admission from college in Toronto, we are planning to travel together. Is it possible to apply my work permit along with her student visa application. Please advise on the same as many are suggesting it can't be processed together, but the official Canadian immigration site mentions we can apply together.

Yes, you can apply for both at the same time.

Would warn you that spouses of international students aren't guaranteed a permit/visa to come to Canada with their spouse. If your wife will only study in Canada if you can both come to Canada then I'd encourage you to apply together although it will take longer to process. If your spouse is willing to come to Canada alone applying for her study permit first will be faster. You can then apply for an OWP.
