I have a question about PR medical, for which I received an ITA with my spouse. I received an email stating that the medical is not required for applicants residing in Canada. My wife, on the other hand, is not in Canada, but she had a medical for work permits a few months ago. Is a fresh medical exam required, or may the old one be used?

Medicals are valid for 1yr, so it sounds like her medical is still valid to date. If the medical is still within one year, I would submit it as it is still valid.
