hi there
Im Canadian Permanent resident and my wife is in Pakistan, I sponsorship application is still in process and currently is in queue for initial review. can some one tell me plz if i can apply spouse visa during the processing? because sponsorship gonna take so long and i can't wait that long, plz help me and tell me the procedure for spouse visit visa in detail that how can I apply and what document will be needed for that. I will be very thankful to you guys
It is very unlikely that you will be able to go to Canada as a visitor, but you can try if you'd like. The only reason I say this is because in immigration they are looking for you wanting to move and live and start a new life in Canada, and that you wouldn't want to return to your home country. In a visitor visa, they want you to show that you have ties to your home country so that you won't want to just stay and live in a country. Here's the website if you are interested. Everything about what you need to apply for a visit is posted:
thanks for your kind reply, but I heard that because of the Canadian Immigration increase the time line for spousal sponsorship, most of the people applying for a visit visas and got it, so i was wondered if somebody here in this forum did the same so i could be able to get some information about that
