Hello,
my spouse is traveling with me to Canada on a TRV, which she received before our wedding. I wanted to know if there would be any issues during immigration when we travel together as she would stay around 4 months? Would I need any supporting documents?
Just to add, I'm a PR and we will sponsoring my spouse after her visit to Canada.

It won't be any problem. But she should be fully prepared with necessary documents/proofs for possible explanation at border to return before expiry. All the best.
We made a similar entry to Canada at one point. As far as I am concerned, there is no such thing as "you should be ok" when it comes to customs officers. We entered separately and in separate queues, just to avoid any unnecessary hassle.
She should bring proof of ties to her home country and proof she will leave Canada. Things like a return ticket with a specific date; proof of funds; proof of a job back home; proof of property, bank accounts, and investments. If she doesn't have any of these, don't worry - people can get in without them. (Though she should have a return ticket at least.) But she must be clear she is just visiting Canada.
