Spouse Sponsorship- Visitor Record

Hej hej , Its Mel. I have just applied for visitor record. And it says that 84 days for process. I'm going to apply for spouse sponsorship my husband will be my sponsor but we are waiting for marriage certificate . and it will take max 3 monts .
Meanwhile my staying limit will be over in 2,5 months thats why i have applied for visitor record.
And if i will be refused i am planning to apply for restoration (implied status) I just want to ask you these:
1- Is it possible for me to apply for sponsorship , as i know it requires valid statue.
2-The processtakes 84 day for visitor record but is there anyone who got it earlier ?
3-Can i leave the country while my visitor record application on process ?

I'll be more then happier if anyone had been through same process would share it with me.

no you cannot leave the country as it would be abaondoned but then you could get a new 6 months record if you are from ETA country

But , what do you mean by saying “abandoned “ do u really have to wait till I get the approval of visitor record ?

Me & my wife just applied spouse sponsorship for me, and my visitor visa expiring in November, we’re also planing to apply for Visitor record for me. Could you please tell if you have submitted any cover with your visitor record file?

First of all , i wish you luck for this journey.. I have attached my process from the beginning. As a summary : I've applied on 17th of May, and got my approvel 11th of june. (24)
Almost one month.

Hi Mihakca,

i'm in the middle of applying visitor record but i'm stuck on 1 question could you please tell me what did you answer in this?

The question that I'm confused about is: Are you accompanying a family member who has status in Canada?
According to the glossary of CIC, 'accompanying' means :
Accompanying you means that this person intends to come to Canada at the same time as you.

If I answer no to the question ( that is no one will accompany me), it doesn't ask me to upload our proof of relationship. On the other hand, If I answer yes, it asks me to upload proof of our relationship. So what should be the correct answer here?
