Hi,

I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my husband. Both of us have extensive travel history. My question is that how to capture travel information when our country of residence changed a couple of times.

Here's my husband's scenario,

1- He's from Pakistan and lived there most of his life.
2- 4 years ago, he moved to Oman and it became his country of residence.
3- For the next 3 years he made lots of trips back to Pakistan.
4- Recently, he moved permanently back to Pakistan.

Question 1 : So now how do we capture his first move to Oman where he changed his country of residence ? That's should we show number of days he stayed or should we write Not Applicable ?

Question 2 : Similarly, when he moved back to Pakistan, what should we fill in for number of days and "To" travel date ?

Question 3: Should we capture the trips between Oman and Pakistan ?

1. He is from Pakistan and currently resides in Pakistan....you may choose Pakistan as the country of origin and country of residence and capture travel out of Pakistan.....you may fill his duration of stay in Oman, From_Date (YYYY - MM), To_Date (YYYY - MM), and length (may fill in days).

2. if you choose Pakistan as the country of origin and country of residence......you should capture his trips out of Pakistan in IMM5562.

3. if you choose Pakistan as the country of origin and country of residence......you should capture his trips out of Pakistan in IMM5562.
