Hello, my spouse's application was returned. They say IMM 5406 is incomplete. We are physically married, her father is deceased and she has two siblings. I can only think they returned because she did not provide her father's death certificate. Also, her mother and brother do not have emails and she wrote NA.
Does anyone know if they returned the application because of the death certificate?

No, there is nothing in the form that informs it.
I found a link about the death certificate for sponsoring parents and grandparents which says the death certificate is required. So, I can only think it is the same rule for spouse sponsorship.

Just incomplete? No other reason was stated? Maybe something was missing on the form. Just re-do and submit again. Follow this link and look at the sections to say to fill out. There is 3 section A,B,C
my father is also deceased, death certificate is not required and i don't have it either
make sure to answer all questions of the form as per instruction, if any section don't apply to you enter "Not Applicable"
Just incomplete. I can't resubmit if I do not change something in the form. In the children's section, she filled the first field as NA. This time, we filled all the text inputs with Not Applicable. I don't see a reason to return the application, but I will try to resubmit, then.
