Hi sa mga filipina wife on this forum.
just confused.. pwedeh help
wala pa kasi akong new passport ang old passport ko is expired na, im still waiting for my marriage certificate to be authenticated.
newlywed lang kasi.
question
1. pwede ba gamitin ung original MC from LCR not yet authenticated.?
2. ang husband ko is also confused, kelangan ko daw i send lahat sa kanya ang documents ko. including the forms so that he can apply for sponsor
kelangan ba talaga un kung mag aaply lang muna siya if he is qualified as sponsor? i thought he needs to be qualified first..
3. kelan ba ako pwede magpa medical? do i need to wait for the approval or not?
please help many thanx
Welcome to the forum! I'll answer as best I can to what I understand you are asking:
1). Sorry I don't fully understand this one especially, but we sent in our "original" MC with our application. We did not get it back with all the photos and other proofs that were returned to us.
2). You (the applicant), fill out ALL of your forms and sign where you need to, and (if separated by geography) send ALL of that to your husband (the sponsor). He completes ALL of his forms, signs everything where necessary and then sends the WHOLE package to CPC-Mississauga (I'm assuming an outland application).
So "no", he gets "qualified" or "sponsorship approval" as part of the whole process.
3). We included the "receipt" for the medical with our application, the results are sent to CIC directly. Do your medicals as late as possible BUT immediately before sending all of your papers to your husband, (the medical is only valid for one year).
Good luck!

When did you and your husband got married yiou can actually expedite the NSO Copy just ask your LCR office that you are going to forward it yourself to the NSO it will only take 2 weeks or 1 month to have an authenticated Marriage certificate.
Is your husband a foreign national? If so you can use his name provided you got a certificate from the Cfo Office..
my husband is canadian... we just got married last month 23...

Oh i see. so suggestion ko punta ka sa LCR office kung saan ka kinasal and ask them that you need your authenticated MC asap for your visa processing. they will tell you what to do. kasi kung sila ang magprocess it will take 6 months para ma-authenticate but if you are going to process it yourself it will only take 2 weeks to 1 month to process and make sure there is no error on your marriage cert because the amendment will seriously take more months to change even for a tiny error.
