Spouse sponsored through Quebec. What about goods to follow?

Hi everyone,

I've sponsored my husband via Quebec family class and I understand that he has to land in Quebec. However, we will most likely be moving to Ontario shortly after. Does anyone know if our goods to follow can 'land' anywhere in Canada or does it also have to be in Quebec? It's very important because we are trying to organize the logistics with the shipping company.

as far as i know, a goods to follow declaration form has nothing to do with provinces. it is a form to get duty exemption on items you bring into canada, no matter which province. in my opinion, it's not going to matter which province you bring your items in, as long as they are listed on your form.

First time I heard about this. When my husband landed in Montreal, they only gave him papers from federal government.
