Hello,
I have appiled for my spouse PR visa, my father's name is mismatch in birth certificate and passport
So, my query is will it create any issue during visa process as my father's name mismatch ? for example in my passport the name is "Shivkumar" and in my birth certificate the name is "Shivbhai"
So, can anyone please provide me solution or any guidence related this name mismatch issue;
should i change the name or affidavit it?
Thanks in advance..

First, when you submitted your app, did you provide any explanation for this?
Obviously 'best' would be to get it corrected - or show that your father changed his name / used both names.
Don't know what you mean by 'affidavit it' - affidvit what exactly?
For the most part if the explanation is simple, a letter of explanation may be enough (when signed by you, this is exactly what an affidavit would be but without a lawyer's stamp, which is going to add very little).
Pesronally I doubt IRCC will care much unless this name mismatch means they have doubts about identity. But hard to say because 'name mismatch' is too vague.
