Spouse passport request

In jan 2020 my spouse got her passport request nd we just married in dec 2019
So i filled my application with her by requesting to put my wife passport request on hold and now its 2 months didn't hear any thing from cic
And same day i did my medical nd submit wid my file

Bec my lawyer said me that she can't go for border crossing alone as her status changed to married now
So i have to put her request on hold nd i have to attachd my file with my spouse so we both will get passport request again

No. It can take many months for a spouse to be added.
