i am an international student in montreal, and i applied open work permit for my spouse. My spouse got medical request and her medical was passed 15 days ago and we are waiting for visa approval. I am in a confusion actually my study permit is going to be expired on 31 august 2016 and my spouse open work permit is depends upon my study permit and i also applied for extension of CAQ already and after that i will apply for study permit. My question is that should i notify cic about my extension because i am scare that cic will make a decision on my study permit may be a chance of rejection. Please help me i am very thankful to you guys.
