Spouse on OWP

Dears,

Can you please help to understand, if Spouse on OWP continue to work if Primary applicant on Closed WP is out of country.

- My Spouse is on WP valid till Feb 2020
- I'm working on Open WP from Sep 2018 and it valid till Feb 2020
- If my spouse leave to India by Dec 2018 after close of current assignment, Can i still stay and continue to work till Sep 2019 to gain 1 yr Canada Experience ?
- Can i use that 1 yr Experience in my PR application ?

If your husband was on a temporary assignment why did his company apply for an ICT and a OWP for you. Is he returning to thr same company in India?

Yes you can stay and use the 1 year to a apply. The situation does seem pretty sketchy.

Yes, you can continue to work as long as your permit is valid.

Yes, that work experience can be used in a PR app.
