We are applying for citizenship application next month and as I preparing for that I noticed that my wife doesn’t have any language ability proof . She has completed Bachelors of Engineering from India but the degree certificate doesn’t specify that the medium of Instruction was in English .She is working in Canada in IT sector on one of the top 5 banks.
Do we need to apply for new degree certificate to include medium of instruction or a cover letter explaining that she has pursued her Bachelors in English and her employment letter would suffice ?

My wife has her IELTS but document was not proper ( It was issued during 2014 and at that time she didn't took the picture properky)
Wondering I can join the two pictures and send them as a proof
She took first half one picture and other half . As the complete picture doesn't cover entire Score card

Its up to the officer to decide. But if previous ielts was used during the PR stage then its highly likely that IRCC will accept that proof of language requirement.

I thought the ielts document is of only one page(which i have one thats issued in 2014) and photo resides in just one small space. isnt it?
All cic needs is just the general ielts. You should not worry about the photo inside the documents which is not the probem - let them verify the authenticity.

There is no requirement that it should have been used in the pr stage. i think that cic was trying to tell that it needs to be the one that can be used for immigration purposes(which is nothing but it should have been noted as non-academic type or the immigration usage type).
