Hi
Can you people share your experience or known events regarding the verification of spouse job experience in the situation when spouse is not principal applicant I mean he/she is dependent . Does visa office still verify their job and call the employer or it is irrelevant and only happen rarely . Please share your experiences and also let me know what kind of questions they ask if they ring the employer. Because one of my friend told me it is irrelevant to call the spouse employer if he/she is not principal applicant because you are not claming any point on it. Thanks
Please come forward and share your experiences

When the Visa officers does have enough time to make calls to employers of principal applicants, the question of making call for spouse does not arise. No points are given for spouse employment, so no calls or need for verification.

My point of asking the above question is my husband is working in small security company here in UK we ask his company for reference letter they send us a letter with correct job start dates and every thing but the format was different then required by visa office so we re ask them for reference letter they send us a reference letter again but surprisingly with wrong start dates such as my husband work for them since august 2007 but on the reference letter they mention he works for them since january 2005 so we call them again and mention the mistake and the lady in VAT/HR says ooh I made a mistake actually their is an other person working for us with similar name and she send us a new reference letter again with correct dates but now I am worried in case if Visa office/officer make a verification call to them and they again mention him wrong dates that could be a problem for me so please come forward and share your experiences in the situation if any of you ever experience or heard that visa office verify the spouse job ever even he/she is not principal applicant. Please share here.

London visa office is very busy visa office. They deal with cases from Pakistan, Middle East and UK. Dont worry they will never make a call to ur spouse office.
This will not effect your maple dream coming true.

Well said explorer101 ;D

So, will they call the past employer to verify the job of the principal applicant? Will they have time to call and verify?

They should & will do that. But whether they will actually do that, or how,,is a mystery

Just wait,,
Cheers!
