Spouse is an International student and sponsor is working part-time

Hello Everyone,

I have a quick question, I am Canadian citizen recently completed my studies and working part-time while searching for my filed job.

My husband is an international student and I wanted to sponsor him.

In this situation am i eligible to sponsor him, I am afraid how I'll meet spouse sponsorship criteria for income.

Kindly share your experiences.

There are no income requirements.

As long as you did/do not receive social assistance from Gov. you can sponsor him.

Also, you should explain how to support you and husband financially until he gets his pr.
ex: his parents pays his tuition, he would work for full/part time during semesters and how you guys support financially now etc.
