Spouse Immigration of Pakistani national from Abu Dhabi

Hello Guys,

I have a quick query,

My wife is Canadian and I am Pakistani living in Pakistan. Now I have got Job in Abu Dhabi. If she will join her over there then would it be possible she can apply for me spouse immigration from Abu Dhabi Canadian high C omission?

Hi

As a Canadian citizen, your wife can stay with you in Abu Dhabi while the application processes. She will need to prove in the application that she intends to return to Canada.

If you are admitted to Abu Dhabi for at least a year, you may select it as your visa office. There have been a few cases where an applicant has requested the VO for their country of residence but CIC has sent the application to the country of nationality VO. It is very rare but it does happen.
