Hi,
Just wondering about social assistance for spouse on 3 years undertaking, roughly how much money would spouse get when they claim social assistance? Spouse doesn’t work at all. Still 18 months on undertaking.

If they claim social assistance, how would we know the claim?

In Ontario ss is about $733/month. (source google)..….....do the math.
If ss is claimed you will get a letter from IRCC to the address they have on record for you.
If you miss the letter, you might get income tax returns withheld to offset the debt or nothing may happen until you try to sponsor another wife and IRCC will say payb back the money or no sponsorship.
