If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. We just finished and sent in our Outland PR app, and I'll be happy to help with US specific questions.
Thank you-- we found the list a Channelers and have set an appointment!
Next question, a little confusion on the IMM 5540 (Sponsor Questionnaire), question 8, it asks if you've ever lived in any country other than Canada and if so to list the address(s):
I've only ever lived in the United States. I'm 33 years old and have lived in at least 8 different apartments in the last 15 years (life in NYC!). Do they want every address I've ever lived in listed since birth even though they are all in the US?

Right-- but do I list every address I've ever lived at in the US (there must be at least 10-- all in New York, including a number of college dorms). Or should I list the address of the house I grew up in? Or where I currently live?

Seriously, list every place I have lived since birth? I will do it if it seems right it just seems so extreme (and to be honest, I don't remember all the addresses....).

Understand that as a sponsor who has never actually lived in Canada, your situation is somewhat unusual. Most sponsors have lived in Canada for the majority of their lives, with maybe a few addresses outside of Canada, so that question is fairly straightforward.
Put everything that you remember and write on the separate sheet that you cannot recall some of the details from far back.
In the event that there are a couple years that I don't remember the address where I lived (or it was a college dorm) is it best to just lengthen the period of time I lived at the other addresses?

No. Lying about anything on this app is misrepresentation and can result in serious negative consequences.
Surely you must be able to always remember at least what city you were living in. For the college dorm time, you can at least list the city and the school.
As I said, put as much as you can and explain on a separate sheet. IRCC understands that people can't always remember specific details about their past.
