my wife is now a PR for 6months upon her landing there in canada. she returned here just for us to get married. now she had returned there. what is the fastest process where she can sponsor me and how long would that it takes until i become a PR there too? the problem is that she is pregnant and sooner she will give birth to our baby. would it be better if i just go there as a tourist/visitor, and while staying there can she still sponsor me while we are taking care of our baby? can i also have a job there with only having a tourist visa?

Read the first post in the following thread. It should answer many of your questions:

No - you cannot work on a visit visa.
