Goodday, I have a question regarding spousal sponsorship. At what time can I travel to see my spouse after I have submitted the documents,I plan to visit my souse it's been 2 years since we 've been apart. Am I able to go around 5 months window and when his PR arrives we come back together? Or I need to wait for the entire time including getting the p,r card for my spouse?Thank you.

Are you a PR? If so, you can go at any time, but you need to keep your trip outside of Canada short (2-3 weeks).

If you are a Canadian citizen, different rules.

His PR card won't arrive until after he has landed and become a PR.

So assuming you are a PR, no - you would not be able to leave Canada at the 5 month window and then remain outside of Canada until PR is approved. You need to keep your time outside of Canada limited (2-3 weeks). As a PR, you must be living in Canada while the sponsorship application is being processed.
