Are you the sponsor or the principal applicant? If you are the sponsor, what is your status in Canada?

I m the principal applicant and i am on my work permit

In that case, leaving Canada will be a risk regardless of the reason. If you do leave, it should be no more than a week or two. If IRCC believes that you have relocated outside of Canada, your PR application will be rejected as you are not eligible for inland sponsorship if you are not living in Canada
with your partner. There is always the possibility of CBSA refusing you reentry, even with a work permit.
