Hello,

I landed in Canada about a month ago. I would like to submit Spousal Sponsorship application for my wife. Based on some trackers and forum posts I have gone through, it does not look like I am going to get my PR card in the next 2 - 3 months. I do not want to wait that long to submit Spousal application given the fact that Spousal PR itself is taking more than a year now.

My question is: Can I submit CoPR copy for now with a letter of explanation that I will attach PR card once I receive it?

Has any one submitted CoPR initially and later sent PR card? Please let me know your experiences.
