Spousal sponsorship with just an implied status

Hello everyone,asking for an opinions,advices with a situation.visitor permit holder but expired already but have an extension before it expired so entitled to what we called "implied status".My question is can i be sponsored by my common law partner if i have just an implied status,what proof of legal status can i provide if my visitor permit already expired?is it ok to apply for a spousal sponsorship while still waiting for a visitor visa extension?thanks for any answers i can get

Yes, you can apply for sponsorship on Implied Status. Include a letter of explanation and the receipt from the extension app.
