Hi

I have several questions regarding my application about Spousal Sponsorship Canada - Quebec

My wife is a Citizen of Canada

I have applied for my PR in the month of August 31st 2018

Aug 31 - AOR

December 19 - They started processing my application

December - Asked to take a Medical test

In the meantime we got a mail saying my file has been sent to my Embassy in New Delhi

Jan/ Feb 2019 - The Ecas Page shows Medical results have been received

In the meantime i got my approved CSQ ,in the Month of March 2019 they sent me a letter of Pre arrival Services

I have done what needs to be done with the pre arrival benefits

Since March i haven’t got an email or any update about the next steps

Since we have a Law firm taking care of our file , i out of curiosity wrote to them and they checked my status,



My current application status is:

Review of eligibility:
We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results:
You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents:
We do not need additional documents.

Interview:
You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics:
We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check:
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision:
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


Does it mean my PR is approved or is there something more to it


I am confused with all of this information and nothing is making sense at the moment,

I applied in August 2018 and now it’s June 2019

In the message the law firm sent me it shows a 12 month duration in total( Estimated Processing time)

August 2018 - August 2019

The estimated processing time was around 14 weeks left when we got our info on May 29th from the law firm


Kindly help me understand what my status is

If you did link your application to your online account, you will be able to upload CSQ via the online account. That what I was asked to do and I did.

I am Canadian Citizen, I am in the process of sponsoring my husband to come to Canada, he has now the same status showing on his online account as yours, you just need to be patient and wait, sometimes it can take months to have DM.

According to MIDI, it takes 20 business days to have CSQ issued.

Hello if anyone is facing delays on CSQ for family reunification, i am an outland applicant had submitted my file on June 17th,2019 (CSQ) Normally the QC immigration issues it in 25 days but as per shown on their website they are processing files received on May 15th, anyone in the same situation?

Can anyone tell me what happens after biometrics are collected for Outland sponsorship ? We still need to send the Quebec undertaking papers
When do they ask for the medical ?
How long in between ?
