Spousal Sponsorship OWP expiry date

I am getting close to (hopefully) being approved for an OWP that went along with my application fo spousal Sponsorship.
My passport expires in October 2019 so my question is:

Will my OWP be for the standard 2 years that most people seem to get or will it be til my passport expiry date?

Dang Im gonna renew soon.
Is there any way I can extend it if I renew my passport in the next few months?
Assuming my PR app goes smoothly it'll be all done by that time but just in case

You can apply for an extension. No point in doing it when you renew your passport. Wait until the OWP is close to expiring.
