my spouse in ghana was married before with a child, but the previous husband and the only son died in an auto accident. i met her a year after the incident in one of my trips to africa in 2011. i liked her and we started dating. after a year and 3 months of dating. we got married early last year.
she delivered a baby girl late last year and am planing to sponsor her and our daughter to canada.
what is the chances of getting the application approve
Depends on other factors, such as age, cultural, educational differences, whether you were married before or not, if the parents attended the wedding, etc.
If you are a Canadian citizen (not just a permanent resident), it's possible that your daughter is a Canadian citizen as well and wouldn't need to be sponsored. It all depends on how YOU received your Canadian citizenship.
The law was changed back in 2009, so look into that ASAP.
am a permanent resident, got my permanent resident in may 2013, her family and relatives attended the wedding ceremony.
got my PR through refugee.
have also been married before in canada, but the marriage didnt last for a year. i have completed my divource in canada, and got the divource certificate

Time for processing will depend if you can apply INLAND or OUTLAND.
To be with your family during processing, you want to apply INLAND. To do this first your wife and daughter will need to apply for a TRV to visit Canada, and once they are here you can apply for their PR. They would be able to stay in Canada during entire process which can take around 18 months.
However the chance of them being accepted for TRV could be slim to none, considering you would be their strongest tie so CIC may feel they would not leave Canada after TRV expires.
So you should prepare to submit an OUTLAND application. This is done through Accra Ghana office. As a PR, you must reside in Canada to submit the application, and during the entire process. So you should be prepared to be separated from your family for a long time (over a year). You would only be able to visit Ghana occasionally for short vacations. Check the Accra thread for more info about time from that office, if you apply outland.
