I have just recently submitted my PR application. My current work permit through the IEC program expired March 21st. I am planning to apply for the open work permit, but because we don’t have the AOR yet, I need to wait until it is two weeks out from my work permit expiry date.
should I also be applying to extend my current work permit, or do I just need to fill out the open work permit application for spousal sponsorship?
