Hello Everyone,

I applied for spousal sponsorship under family class in May 07, 2022. I applied as outland , online. I am just wondering if anybody has received any reply since then and usually how long it takes these days for any update ?

With the current processing time expect to wait at least 3-6 months before you receive your AOR.
Once they process your AOR you'll receive requests for biometrics and medical very quick. So be ready for that.

We sent our online app in December 2021 and have still not received AOR. Hope you have better luck than us.

It's optional. Only submit it if you're hiring a representative like a lawyer or consultant fory your application.

It usually takes about 4-6 months to get AOR.
We applied back in November and got our AOR around March.
But once you get your AOR they'll ask you for biometrics and medical within a couple of weeks. So be prepared.

It's optional. Only submit it if you're hiring a representative like a lawyer or consultant fory your application.

I agree it's optional: but it can be quite useful for the spouse-sponsor to also be appointed as representative.

I applied end of April 2022 and still no AOR.
