Hi! I would like to seek advice on the status of my husband's application for permanent residence.
Our application was received last December 24, 2015 and we were notified that processing started last March 1, 2016. Please also note that he had his medical examinations last July of 2015. Here is his current status as per CIC website:
Application/profile status: Open
Review of Eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of Medical Results: Review in Progress
Review of submitted Documents:
Scheduling of Interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: Not started
Final decision: Not started
We are just a bit worried especially that his medical examination results are probably expired. I hope somebody can shed further light on our situation. Thank you!
Submit a web form. His medical results has to be valid throughout the whole process up until he enters Canada. Submit a web form and bring this to CIC's attention.
Thank you for your reply. We already sent an email as of this morning to cic but only got an automated response saying that they will reply within 28 days. How do you do the web form?

hi we had same situation mine expired last sept 30 and until now no news or updates from mycic i don't know what is happening why it took us this long while others got their ppr and visas.. I already emailed them few times but i always got an automated response from them..This is so frustrating..btw, i'm also heading to winnipeg and a november 2015 applicant
We were notified a few weeks ago that he had to retake his medical examinations since it is already expired. He took it the next day and was already submitted to the embassy on the last week of October. As per the website of CIC, his medical examinations are passed.
