Hi David I had my interview today. It went very well . We were done like within 45-60 minutes very basic questions we didn’t find it a tough at all. Questions like.
When my husband become permanent resident and Canadian citizenship ?? Explain your house ??? Who else lives with us ??? What is my house number ??? Who cooks food,?? How many siblings my husband have ???! Why I didn’t go back home after I got work permit refusal earlier ??? We were expecting it very tough but we found it very easy and went smooth and fast . My lawyer said it is good it’s positive that it only took an hour otherwise they don’t leave you for 3-4 hours sometimes .
I will update u guys as soon as I get more info
They called me back in February 2018 for an 'interview' , they found out about me through the application, which led them to expedite an exclusion order against me.

Yes, you can but by the time you get your Aip, most of the times your file is near getting approved. Sometimes when you receive AIP, you get decision made also at the very same time. So, in that case its better to wait for am and landing letter rather than spending 250$ at work permit which doesn't make any sense. but if you get aip and then its still in process then its better to apply for Work permit.
That is true, you can definitely apply for a work permit after AIP, but, usually once you get AIP you will have a DM in a matter of weeks, so there's no point on paying the work permit

Yes, I applied in July 2017 and they reached out to me in February 2018. Yes, they definitely share information 100% But some people are lucky enough they never get called in for an interview. are you out of status too?
